Who We Are
We are business engineers that believe an ethical and sustainable corporate sphere is integral to cultivating economic stability and a brighter future. We aim to create value for the organisations we work with through implementing disruptive technologies, optimising operational environments, and growing strategic intent. Central to achieving our ethos is developing and cultivating talent in the individuals within our company through the C3 Academy. We enable our people and clients to pursue innovative business ventures via the Convergenc3 Startup incubator.

Convergenc3 was founded in 2016 by Stefan Smit and Tommie Sephton who had a vision to fundamentally change the way that professional services and management consulting are done, by allowing all employees to work not only on the clients’ businesses but also to incubate their own startups. More than six years later, they have successfully proven the concept and have grown to a sizeable team of business process engineers, data scientists and software developers that continue to expand in numbers and capabilities.

At Convergenc3 we choose to build a positive and uplifting company culture that is built on mutual respect and relationships.
Being part of the Convergenc3 family means that your uniqueness plays an important role in who we are as a company. We believe that by working together and leveraging our different strengths, we can achieve so much more than we would individually.
Even while growing at a steady pace, we still encourage our team to build relationships and get to know each other on a deeper level while we “play hard” after work. Teamwork and constructive support develop from an understanding that only friendship can bring forth.
We chose to celebrate every victory, milestone, and effort towards your goals at our monthly C3 Celebrations. We spend precious time together during our annual break away, sports days and conferences.

Rather than keeping our talents locked up safely – we want to ensure we do not miss out on playing our part in building a better future for South Africa.
Convergenc3 is currently partnered with some of our country’s top universities to provide bursaries, mentorship, and industry experience for disadvantaged engineering students.
During our corporate responsibility days, our team joins hands with non-profit organisations to lighten their load. In the past, our team has helped organisations with their strategic and technical needs and gotten our hands dirty while involved in agricultural and maintenance activities.
We have learned that we continuously discover more about ourselves when serving others.

LIV Village
An organisation close to Convergenc3’s heart is LIV Village. Since 1997, LIV Village has dedicated itself to providing orphaned and vulnerable youth with a family environment and community. While providing that assistance, LIV Village also uplifts and enriches members of the community’s lives by providing employment and training opportunities to the unemployed and quality early childhood education for children up to 6 years old.
