About Yandisa Sikhosana
Throughout my degree program, I amassed a number of skills. Namely those in programming (C, Java and Python), electronics, control systems and system design. I took a particular interest in energy generation and made it the focus of my degree. In addition to the skills formed in the classroom, I have worked to hone my teamwork, time management and communication skills through consistently engaging in group activities to help both my immediate ( residence hall, campus) and my greater (through my work with Academics for Development) community.
Since graduating, I have taught abroad in Korea and gained innumerable skills with regard to adapting to new environments and navigating new cultures. I am currently a business process engineer, working as a junior project manager within Change and Transform at a major national bank.
